Academic Coaching

Coaches have regular 1 on 1’s with learners to help students identify their interests, strengths, and goals; navigating potential barriers on their way to success. Coaches support for families and teachers to ensure the best equipped safety net for each learner. Coaches also connect learners with

resources and programs related to their academic goals and passions. Additionally, coaches build self esteem, empowering learner with evidence of how being unique is an asset, helping them stand out from the crowd.

At DiverseCity Learning Collaborative, we offer advising for the college admissions process, suggesting good match schools and supporting families throughout the search, application, decision, and financial aid process. We offer advising on choosing the best school for your child, whether it be public, charter, private, religious, or even boarding school. A great education does not need to cost a fortune, and we would work to find a school that is either free or affordable, guiding you through the financial aid options. We also offer advising on summer programs, study tours, and gap years.
